  1. The Potato Bazooka!
  2. From the people who brought you the tennis ball 
  3. cannon, and the potato gun, comes the newest device
  4. for home safety and recreation!
  5.  
  6. Well it seems to have spread across the country :-)
  7. I was talking to my dad in N.C. who said that all 
  8. of the kids over 30 were playing with potato
  9. bazookas :-)  And that it was developed in CA.
  10. and introduced to the East Coast.  Now Rush
  11. Limbaugh ?sp. has talked about it!  Well, I built
  12. one from verbal instructions and it works! It has
  13. a few bugs to be worked out, but all in all, it's
  14. very impressive.  I thought I would post an acsii
  15. drawing of it to the net ;-)

  42. Assemble all the parts (except the screw cap) and
  43. glue them together using ABS glue.  Fit the gas grill
  44. ignitor through the middle of the 12" section of tube.
  45. So far, what I have seen that works is to load a
  46. potato plug, spray a couple shots of Aquanet Hairspray
  47. into the other end, screw on the cap, and using a
  48. 30" plunger - push the potato plug down the 36" tube.
  49. Aim (never aim this at a person or animal!!) and fire!
  50. It will launch a potato plug about 1200'!!!
